Monstrum Mundus

This is my senior project I worked on at Huntington University. I worked with a great team on this and thought it turned out pretty well. It was a long process, but I had a lot of fun working on it.

Text To Chat Promo

This is a promo I did for Remedy Live, highlighting their text to chat feature. I really enjoyed working on this project. The hand drawn style is something I really enjoy working with, and it really adds something cool to the promo.

Updated Hurt Show Promo

This is an updated version of The Hurt Show promo I did for Remedy Live.

Battle Promo

Another fun promo I did for Remedy Live. I made this one in an old comic book style. This was really fun to do, I'm lucky I get to make cool promo videos at my work. This was one of my favorites to work on.

8-Bit Facebook Animation

Another web banner animation for Remedy Live.com. I really enjoyed making this one. I got to put my love of animation and old school video games together, a very nice mix for me. It's got a little bit of classic Mario in it, that's where I got the inspiration for this one.

Twitter Web Animation

This is an animation I did for Remedy Live. It's currently a banner animation that plays on www.remedylive.com. I liked designing this one.

KJ-52 Tv Promo

Another promo I did for Remedy Live. I really liked how this one turned out.

Reformatory Promo

Another promo for one of Remedy Live's shows, the Reformatory.

Icthus Ipad Promo

Another promo I did for Remedy Live. It was fun working with the old iMac computers. I also liked Med morphing into the iPad, that was fun to do.

The Clinic Promo

Another promo I did for Remedy Live.

Back Stage Pass Promo

This is another promo I did for Remedy Live. I liked the swing animation in this one, it took awhile to get Med to jump onto the lanyard.

Converge Promo

This is another promo I did for Remedy Live.

Facebook Promo

This is one of the first promos I did for Remedy Live.

Donate Promo

This is the fifth promo I did for Remedy Live. My favorite part of this video is the headphones on Med. I thought they turned out well, hopefully they don't look too much like earmuffs.

Hurt Line Promo

This was the fourth promo I did for Remedy Live. Creating the Hurt Med was a lot of fun. I like to add little elements like that to Med, I think it gives the promos a little extra detail to them.

Suicide Hotline Promo

This is the third promo I did for Remedy Live, it was for a suicide hotline number. This one was challenging to come up with and idea that fit the topic of the promo. It couldn't be too dark but also couldn't be too light. I think it worked out pretty well.

Text Promo

This was the second promo I did for Remedy Live. Put a bit more thought into this one, and did more animation this time around. I enjoyed creating the wheels using Adobe Illustrator and animating Med, the Remedy Mascot.

Twitter Promo

This is a Twitter Promo I did for Remedy Live. I used Adobe After Effects. This was the first promo I did and Remedy, and I thought it turned out pretty well.

Fly Swat

More 2D animation I did this semester. I really enjoyed working on this one. Animating the facial expressions was pretty fun. I especially like the one right when he brings the book down. See the image posted below the video.

3D Character Animation Final

This is the final animation I did for a 3D character animation class I took. It's just a play-blast right now so its not super pretty looking, but the animation is still good. The audio is from a show I believe most people have seen. I am really tired of hearing this audio clip now, but still pretty pleased with the result. I'm sure there are plenty of tweaks I can make on it, but for now I'm letting it be.

Monster Band Member

Here's a monster band member who's in my Senior Project film.

Head Turn Smear

More 2D animation. This was a head turn where instead of animating the in-between drawings, I used a technique called a smear.

A smear basically means that you have one combined drawing of the starting drawing and the ending drawing that is "smeared" together. It looks like a pretty wacky drawing. Here's what it looks like:

Don't Trip Over That.........

Another 2D animation I did for my Advanced 2D class. This one was pretty fun to make. I especially enjoyed the exaggerated frame that you don't really see, but you feel it.

Emotion Change

This is an animation I did for my Advanced 2D Animation class. I thought it turned out pretty well, I liked that angry expression. That was a fun one to draw.

Yet another 3d character. Here's a still of my vary own windup toy. This was a fun one to create.

Old School Stuff, Literally

Here's an image of a 3D lizard puppet I did sophomore year. Found this while sorting through some old school work.

Superhero Card

Here's my superhero Straight Fry. This was another project for my Inspirational Design class. We had to make a superhero based on our class nicknames. This was another fun assignment for my favorite class this semester.

Here's the front of the card
And here's the back.

Frosted Sausage Clusters

This is my cereal box I did for my Inspirational Design class. I actually made this "tasty" cereal. I cut up some sausage, put frosting on it, and then poured the milk on. It was quite nasty looking. I'm glad this product doesn't really exist. It was a fun project though.

Space Toast!

Here's a B Movie Poster that I did for a contest. This was a lot of fun to make, adding the weathering really added a lot to the piece. Probably one of my favorite assignments I've done this year.

Nesting Dolls

Here's my final render of my Demon Marching Band nesting dolls I did for my inspirational design class. It was a lot of fun making them and doing the textures for them. It took quite a bit of time but I really like the end result. Special thanks to Professor Ballinger for help with the wood texture look.

Poet and the Duck Bridge Scene

This was a scene I worked on for a film called the Poet and the Duck. I made the bridge and then did the animation of the water, fish, poet and the duck. It took a while to get the set constructed and then took some time to animate the water which was somewhat complicated to do. Overall though I thought it turned out pretty well.

Terrified

This was my final animation project I did sophomore year for my Adobe Flash class. We had to take the story a classmate told and then make an animation of it. I really enjoyed this piece but I think I still have my fellow classmate's voice stuck in my head. Listened to it so many times to get the lip sync right.

Animator

This was a final project for my stop motion class sophomore year. I thought it was my best best stop motion animation that I did that year. It was a lot of fun making the puppet and designing the animation table. I was really proud of this film and really shows how much I learned about stop motion that year. I think I really nailed that walk cycle too.

Twins???

This was by far my favorite 10 sec piece I did. It was really fun to do and I really liked the animation on this one. It was by far the most enjoyable 10 sec piece I worked on.

Heavy Lift

Yet another stop motion piece. This one was a real pain to make, it was challenging getting my block guy to hold that banana up. But other then fighting with the rig it was a really fun shoot and I had a blast doing this piece.
